Ladies and Gentleman, (or maybe just Lady. Hi, Mom!). I am very pleased to announce I have made my first two sales on Etsy! They may both be for my in-laws, but at this point I will take what I can get. I plan to post quite a few more sets in the upcoming weeks, so for those of you who forgot to get a gift for your dear Aunt Myrtle, I bet she would love a new set of napkins!

Tonight my husband, Joe and I are celebrating Christmas Eve with his parents and some close friends. We get together every year, and a few years back the moms decided to shake things up a bit and start doing special themes instead of the traditional ham or roast. Highlights have included Moroccan, Hawaiian, Viking, and Native American, but there have been some hiccups along the way (I’m looking at you, Peruvian.) Tonight the “kids” are taking the reins, and we have quite a feast planned; I won’t tell exactly what we are cooking up, but let’s just say you should expect a post on beignets in the next few days!
