Psst! Psssst! Hey, Carrots!
Now that I have your attention, remember this?:
I sure do. I have been diligently giving my cooped-up cordial a shimmy shake every few days for the past couple of weeks, but now the time has come. Shield your eyes, Mrs. Barry, pull the curtains, Mrs. Lynde! It’s Raspberry Cordial o’clock!
I strained it through a sieve, making sure to get every last drop out of each of those boozy berries, and put it in the fridge to chill overnight. Joe and I each poured ourselves a little sip for a Valentine’s Day toast, and jeepers is it good! You taste the raspberry first, then a delightful sweetness, and it finishes with a vodka-induced kick in the pants. It’s perfect to sip on as is, but I also recommend adding a touch of soda water and twist of lime for an extra special cocktail. A perfect refreshment while fishing for lake trout, I would guess. Have a great weekend!

I’m watching Anne of Green Gables as I type this! The cordial looks delicious and I think even Rachel Lynde would enjoy it, regardless of the demon liquor!
I would bet that on my bottle of Rollings Reliable Baking Powder!
